Bipin Shah has been a veteran of Silicon Valley for over 3 decades and has worked both in the Semiconductor and Software domains. He has been VP of Global Operations for Altera – a major PLD- FPGA company – that was acquired by Intel, where he helped operationally grow the company from zero to over $500M in revenue over 11 years. He was then named President of Altera Japan where he grew Altera’s business in Japan from $55M to $120M in less than 3 years.
Prior to that he started his chip career at Fairchild where over a period of 11 year he held positions in Engineering, Quality – Reliability and Manufacturing Operations Management.
Before his career at Kovair, Bipin was involved in another chip start up as a CEO and VC Fund investments for about 5 years through INC3 Ventures.
His software career started with Kovair where since early 2006 he has transformed the company into a multi faceted software development and delivery tools company with focus on Value Stream Management, through tools integrations, DevOps and DevSecOps including the traditional ALM and PLM tools value propositions for high end product development.
Bipin holds a BEE (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and a MSEE from University of Wisconsin, Madison.

He is a former CTO of one of the first video/WiFi smartphone firms and an entrepreneur in the tech sector, having worked for firms that are now part of leading firms like Intel, IBM, Nokia, and Ericsson. He advises many emerging startups, such as Kovair in the DevOps/ALM arena, having worked for 3 startups that are part of IBM Rational/DOORS in ObjecTime, Verilog, and Telelogic on integrated development, test and operational environments.
Joydeep Datta has over 15 years’ experience in distributed Web Services, Enterprise systems using various distributed technologies. He has more than a decade of experience in managing the entire lifecycle of product engineering for mid-to-large scale business integration solutions. Joydeep’s recent technology focus has been on UDP, Compression and the Binary Encoder and Web Sockets. He has successfully architected multi-tier distributed ESB platform for large scale, high-volume integration system. He is passionate about building teams, products, technology and great engineering culture for massively scaling businesses.
Joydeep received a pure science degree from Burdwan University in West Bengal. He has also been awarded with GNIIT Excellence in Software System Management.
