With over two decades of PLM (product lifecycle management) consulting experience coupled with a robust assessment methodology (Kovair’s PLM Assessment Framework), Kovair’s PLM consultants are experts in assessing relevant business processes for discrete manufacturing customers and recommending phase-wise roadmap to implement PLM together with a prioritized action plan and business value proposition.
Kovair’s assessment methodology is an adapted Six Sigma DMAIC approach outlining the 3M’s (Method, Measure and Manage), which baselines the As-is context, provides assistance in coming up with “To-BE” vision, and analyzing the gaps to recommend a prioritized implementation plan.

Kovair’s PLM consultants have successfully done 6 Upgrade projects in the past. Some of these include custom Windchill version 11 upgrade, the latest release of PTC’s Windchill PLM. They are experienced to understand the nuances of project planning, execution, monitoring and control; including the dependencies for effective coordination with PLM maker’s technical support, for resolving issues like data inconsistencies, healing or coming up with suitable approaches to address issues like API deprecation.
