Bipin Shah has been a veteran of Silicon Valley for over 3 decades and has worked both in the Semiconductor and Software domains. He has been VP of Global Operations for Altera – a major PLD- FPGA company – recently acquired by Intel, where he helped operationally grow the company from zero to over $500M in revenue over 11 years. He was then named President of Altera Japan where he grew Altera’s business in Japan from $55M to $120M in less than 3 years.

Prior to that he started his chip career at Fairchild where over a period of 11 year he held positions in Engineering, Quality and Reliability and Manufacturing Management.

His software career started with Kovair where since early 2005 he has transformed the company into an Integrated ALM solutions provider and a leading provider of integrations for major third party development and other tools with Kovair’s trademark Omnibus Integration Platform.

Bipin holds a BEE (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and a MSEE from University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Akshay Sharma is a tech analyst, ex-Gartner, having authored 280+ research notes, on emerging technologies like DevOPs, Software Defined Data Centers, 5G, and IoT. A frequent speaker at tech events, he is often quoted in leading institutions like CNN, Wall St. Journal, and CIO.com. He is a former CTO of one of the first video/WiFi smartphone firms and an entrepreneur in the tech sector, having worked for firms that are now part of leading firms like Intel, IBM, Nokia, and Ericsson. He advises many emerging startups, such as Kovair in the DevOps/ALM arena, having worked for 3 startups that are part of IBM Rational/DOORS in ObjecTime, Verilog, and Telelogic on integrated development, test and operational environments.

Joydeep Datta has over 15 years’ experience in distributed Web Services, Enterprise systems using various distributed technologies. He has more than a decade of experience in managing the entire lifecycle of product engineering for mid-to-large scale business integration solutions. Joydeep’s recent technology focus has been on UDP, Compression and the Binary Encoder and Web Sockets. He has successfully architected multi-tier distributed ESB platform for large scale, high-volume integration system. He is passionate about building teams, products, technology and great engineering culture for massively scaling businesses.

Joydeep received a pure science degree from Burdwan University in West Bengal. He has also been awarded with GNIIT Excellence in Software System Management.

Rajib has over 15 years of experience in sales and marketing. At Kovair Software, he has secured business form several marquee customers. In a direct reporting relationship with the CEO, he strategizes with him and executes at the account level to win the business.

Earlier he co-founded several software companies in the San Francisco Bay area. Yubé in Customer Relationship Management, Ohana Health in healthcare and WebScalers in Search technology. He was responsible for overall company strategy including sales, marketing, IT, customer services, and raised venture and government funding for them. He also secured their solution / technology partners and resellers. He was a founding employee at Actuate Corporation (NASDAQ: BIRT; acquired later by OpenText, NASDQ: OTEXT). He started and grew their customer support and consulting services team: generating 8% of the company’s total revenue.

Rajib holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of Hawai’i and a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

Murugan is a business leader & consultant with 22+ years of global experience in Digital Technologies for multinational product & services companies like Tech Mahindra, GE, Honeywell and HCL. He recently joined Kovair reporting to the CEO, and leads the ALM-PLM solutions practice for Kovair based in Bangalore.

He has good exposure in versatile areas like business development, process consulting, delivery, strategic planning, product management, large account management, partner and vendor ecosystem development in multiple geographies like US, Europe and Middle East and India. He has a strong global process consulting experience with 10+ successful process assessments again with global customers spanning different industry verticals like Industrial Machines, Products and Medical Devices.

He had successfully lead versatile projects involving PLM systems like Windchill, Enovia, SolidWorks EPDM, Agile PLM for Process and CAD tools like Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor. He had worked on product configurators involving design automation, CAD conversion, value engineering, strategic sourcing, controls & industrial automation, Service Transformation, IOT and Six Sigma for various worldwide customers.

Murugan holds a MS in Software Engineering from BITS, Pilani, and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from University of Madras. He is a certified Senior Management Professional from IIM Calcutta, ASQ Certified Six Sigma Blackbelt and a PMP.
