Greetings! We just completed the first month of the new year and completed our first webinar of the year earlier last week on the topic, “Citizen Developer on the Cloud” conducted by our CTO Sky Basu and Kovair Director for Kovair Australasia, Ravi Gadhia. It was a very successful webinar and the recorded version is being placed on the Kovair Website for those of you who wish to review it for further interest in this domain of Platform as a Service or PaaS where the Kovair Platform can be used by non technical and non software developer type business users to create their own applications with mouse click configurations on the cloud or on corporate data centers. Kovair facilitates this type of usage on the SaaS infrastructure as well.

January also saw Kovair’s participation in Infocomm at Kolkata India, the largest show of its kind in eastern India where we show cased our Kovair Product offerings.

Kovair is participating in three events in February in two different continents – The International Conference and Show on IT Service Management at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas from Feb 21-24 at Booth 514 about which we did write in our January blog and have done a recent press release. The third and fourth events happen in Mumbai and Bangalore in conjunction with the government of Victoria, Australia with the Industry Minister Mr. John Lenders who is addressing a gathering of CIOs in Mumbai on Feb 8 who are gathered for the NASSCOMM – www.NASSCOM.org Annual Conference in Mumbai on Feb 9-11. He is addressing other business leaders in Bangalore on Feb 10. Kovair will be recognized at these events for its investment in Victoria by setting up Melbourne-based Kovair Australasia and creating IT jobs as well as for its collaboration with La Trobe University near Melbourne.
