Sid Yenamandra

Sid Yenamandra is a highly accomplished and exceptionally talented entrepreneur and executive with a proven track record of success in the field of cybersecurity and technology. He has founded and successfully exited three startups, leaving a lasting impact on the industry with each venture. His most notable achievement is the founding and leadership of Entreda, a company that quickly rose to become the top provider of cybersecurity compliance software to financial services firms. Under Sid’s guidance, Entreda was acquired by K1 Capital and RegTech Unicorn Smarsh in 2020, and he served as CEO for two years post-acquisition. During this time, Sid also led the company in acquiring Privva, a leading provider of third party vendor risk management software, and took over the role of running Smarsh’s wealth management business, a $100M ARR business. He also served as the head of the customer success organization for all Smarsh products.

Sid’s impressive track record also includes key leadership roles at Plato Networks, where he served as VP of Product and Marketing, and PacketFX. During his time at Plato Networks, the company was acquired by publicly-traded Netlogic Microsystems in 2010, and later by Fortune 500 company Broadcom for a staggering $4B in 2012. This sale speaks to Sid’s exceptional ability to drive growth and innovation, and his expertise in building and scaling successful businesses.

In addition to his successes in the tech industry, Sid has also made significant contributions to the field of cybersecurity through his work with the NSA. He led a program with an elite team to accelerate Suite B cryptographic algorithms with integrated compression for the agency’s Information Assurance directorate in solutions approved for protecting National Security Systems (NSS).

With dual B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and two software patents and numerous publications to his name, Sid is a highly respected and accomplished figure in the tech industry, known for his unparalleled expertise in cybersecurity and his ability to develop and implement innovative solutions for some of the most complex and challenging problems facing our world today.

NSA Security Project

Sid led a program with an elite team to accelerate Suite B cryptographic algorithms with integrated compression for NSA’s Information Assurance directorate in solutions approved for protecting National Security Systems (NSS).

Academic Background

While studying at Berkeley, Sid dabbled in various software projects involving foundational internet and open source protocols widely used today to connect servers on the web, deliver email or transfer files securely and efficiently. Sid holds dual bachelor of science (B.S.) Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley. Sid holds 2 software patents in cybersecurity risk scoring and hybrid cloud computing.

Bipin Shah

Bipin Shah Ex-CEO of Kovair Software

Bipin Shah has been a veteran of Silicon Valley for over 4 decades and has worked both in the Semiconductor and Software domains.

He was most recently CEO of Kovair Software from 2006 to early 2023 and helped transform the company into a multi-faceted software development and delivery tools company prior to transitioning it to Surge Ventures and stepping down as CEO.

He has been VP of Global Operations for Altera – a major PLD- FPGA company that was acquired by Intel, where he helped operationally grow the company from zero to over $500M in revenue over 11 years. He was then named President of Altera Japan where he grew Altera’s business in Japan from $55M to $120M in less than 3 years.

Prior to that he started his chip career at Fairchild where over a period of 11 years he held positions in Engineering, Quality – Reliability and Manufacturing Operations as well as Business Unit Management.

Before his career at Kovair, Bipin was involved in another chip start up – Invox Technology as a CEO and VC Fund investments for about 5 years through INC3 Ventures.

Bipin holds a BEE (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and a MSEE from University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Shreesha Ramdas

Shreesha RamdasCEO of Lumber

Shreesha Ramdas has a track record of launching & growing products in competitive markets. Shreesha is currently the CEO of Lumber, a workforce management platform for the construction industry. Previously Shreesha was SVP & GM, B2B at Medallia. Shreesha cofounded and spearheaded the acquisition of Strikedeck (Medallia) and LeadFormix (SAP/Callidus). Shreesha also is an active investor/advisor in several growth companies including Workato, Boostup, Promethium, Rocketlane, and others.

Guhan Swaminathan

Guhan SwaminathanManaging Director, Virgo Capital

Guhan co-founded Virgo Capital in 2005 and leads investment sourcing and evaluation for the Firm. He currently serves on the boards of Surge Ventures, Zello, Sayers, and Bound.

Prior to establishing Virgo Capital, Guhan was a Principal at WestBridge Capital Partners (now Sequoia Capital India), a leading private equity fund dedicated to US-India investments. As one of the initial members of the WestBridge team, Guhan led five investments in the outsourced services and technology industries, including in AppLabs, which was acquired by CSC.

Previously, Guhan worked in the New York and Tokyo offices of Goldman Sachs and focused on various types of transactions including private equity investments and asset securitizations.

Guhan received his BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Hemanth Parasuram

Hemanth ParasuramManaging Director, Virgo Capital

Hemanth co-founded Virgo Capital in 2005 and manages the operations of the Firm including portfolio management and currently serves on the boards of Surge Ventures, Zello, Sayers, and SirsiDynix.

Prior to establishing Virgo Capital, Hemanth was the Director of Corporate Development at TIBCO Software, where he completed several strategic investments and three acquisitions. Previously, Hemanth worked in the High Technology Mergers and Acquisitions group of Goldman Sachs, where he advised clients in a variety of industries including software, hardware, and online media.

Hemanth received his BS in Electrical Engineering with a software specialization from Stanford University.
